House Guest

There is a little caterpillar that has taken up residence on my door frame. I don't know if I should move him or just let him stay there. When I first saw him he was inching up the door frame, as seen below.

Then I opened the door, and I guess he got scared (?) and stuck himself to the frame at a strange angle.

He hasn't moved in a few hours. I don't know if he is hibernating or whatever caterpillars do. Has this ever happened to you? Do you have any butterfly farming advice?

Missoni for Target Mayhem

So, yesterday I got pulled in by the siren song of Missoni at Target prices. I staked out my spot in the Target parking lot 30 minutes before the store opened, eyeing up the competition. (Mostly moms on the hunt for rain boots.) I was on the hunt for the espresso set and some silk scarves. Ooh the anticipation.

 Finally 8:00 am rolled around, and me and the other shoppers semi-stampeded into Target, ready to grab anything with a chevron print. One mom literally yelled to her 2 year old "RUN!!!!" Haha!

Well. Apparently my Target only carried around 15% of the 400 Missoni items, meaning almost everything my fellow shoppers and I wanted was not available. I ended up with a wool scarf that I immediately regretted buying as soon as I got home and a set of 3 notebooks. Wah. Hopefully Target will restock or do another Missoni launch. Next time I'm going for a bike!

Purple Suede Shoes

So, last week while bored at a friends bowling game, I decided to buy purple suede shoes on my blackberry. This was the first time I had ever used my blackberry for an online purchase (weird right?), and I'm kind of wondering why i bought these? They are very much an impulse buy. Here's to hoping I love them in real life!

Fall Cravings

Here in Texas, the sweltering days get old fast. I am wishing for cooler days and of course, new clothes. These are the items I am currently craving.

 Frye Paige Tall Riding Boots in Tan (Link!)

I have these in Gray, but I should have gone down a 1/2 size. I love this color and I can see myself wearing these on a daily basis.

Perfect for running around town, bottomless mimosa brunches and football games.

Anthropologie Noisette Jacket (Link!)

I'm obsessed with silk jackets right now and this seems to be the perfect one to transition from summer to fall. I can see this with a tank and cut off denim shorts for right now and skinny jeans, boots, and a long sleeve t-shirt in a few months.
